The Detroit Lions are placing cornerback Justin Coleman on the injured reserve list, according to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero.

Coleman sustained a hamstring injury during Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears and is slated to miss a minimum of three weeks, per league modified rules.

The Lions are also dealing with injuries to wide receiver Kenny Golladay, cornerback Desmond Trufant and first round pick Jeff Okudah, but the hope is that Okudah will be available to play in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.

Detroit recently worked out veteran defensive back Jaylen Watkins, who has played for the Los Angeles Charges and the Houston Texans, so he could be an option as well.
