Panthers Place Christian McCaffrey On IR

The Carolina Panthers have officially placed star running back Christian McCaffrey on the injured reserve, according to an official team announcement.

McCaffrey will miss a minimum of three weeks of action due to a high ankle sprain, but it is looking like he will miss more than that as he recovers.

The Panthers will now turn to Mike Davis, who will take over for McCaffrey while he is out, as he did so during Sunday’s game.
