The Kansas City Royals have moved veteran right hander Matt Harvey to the bullpen, according to the Kansas City Star’s Lynn Worthy.
Harvey was given another shot at reclaiming the greatness he showed earlier in his career when the Royals signed him, but he has failed to deliver since they promoted him back on August 18th.
Harvey has posted a 11.45 ERA over 6 games and 11 innings this season for Kansas City, and may have to hope for a minor league deal next offseason if he hopes to continue his playing career.
