Tennessee Titans rookie offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, whom the team selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was arrested Friday night for DUI, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed, according to ESPN’s Turron Davenport.

Wilson was arrested at 11:29 p.m and was later released on $1,000 bond at 1:28 a.m. on Saturday, per court documents cited in the report. Wilson has a court appearance scheduled for October 7th.

Arrest reports indicate that Wilson was traveling on Charlotte Avenue in Nashville at a high rate of speed, and according to a witness a vehicle that was later identified as Wilson’s was doing “donuts” at the intersection of 25th Avenue N. and Charlotte Avenue.

Wilson would lose control of the vehicle he was driving and crash into a concrete wall.

Wilson told the arresting officer that he had a problem with his back tire and that it was the cause of the crash. The officer smelled alcohol on Wilson’s breath and noticed his eyes were watery, according to the arrest report. Wilson told the officer that he consumed two margaritas before driving his vehicle, agreed to a Breathalzer test which showed Wilson having a blood alcohol level of .107. The limit in Tennessee is .08..

Earlier this summer, Wilson appeared on a Tennessee State University campus police incident report after attending a gathering at an off-campus apartment, and received a trespassing warning.
