Looking to field the ultimate lineup in fantasy football in Week 3? Then here are a few players, who are set to have favorable matchups, you may want to start.

1. Gardner Minshew – Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Miami Dolphins

Week 3 officially kicks off tonight when the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Miami Dolphins, and gives fantasy owners a prime opportunity to start Jaguars’ quarterback Gardner Minshew against a Dolphins defense that just gave up over 400 yards to Buffalo Bills signal caller Josh Allen.

Furthermore, Minshew posted 20-plus fantasy points and three passing TDs in each of his first two games this season, for a Jags team many expected to tank.

I wouldn’t shy away from Minshew in the event that wide receiver DJ Chark misses the game, as he may rely a bit more on his feet against Miami.

2. Kyler Murray – Arizona Cardinals vs. Detroit Lions

Kyler Murray should absolutely start this week for your team, as the Arizona Cardinals take on the Detroit Lions.

Fact is that Lions head coach Matt Patricia’s defense has been getting toasted this season, and it’s fair to question just how much of a defensive “guru” Patricia is, especially considering that the Lions have given up five touchdown passes over the course of their past 5 quarters of play, and have given up 38 total since the start of last season.

It’s fair to assume that Murray is set to feast on the Lions defense in Week 3.

3. Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks vs. Dallas Cowboys

A week after letting Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons offense explode, the Dallas Cowboys now have to take on the dual-threat that is Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.

Wilson has been putting on an MVP performance over the course of the past 2 weeks of the 2020 season, and it’s likely to continue against a suspect Cowboys defense.

Player to Avoid – Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams

After throwing over 400 yards against the Miami Dolphins and looking ever bit a franchise quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen will come back to planet Earth against the Los Angeles Rams.

Why?

Well, the Dolphins failed to apply any pressure to Allen last week, giving the young signal caller all the time in the world to carve them up. That won’t be the case with the Rams.

Not only will Allen have to deal with Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, he’ll have to contend with Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey as well.

It’s a recipe for a down fantasy week for Allen.
