Aj Styles Shuts Down Twitch Stream In Accordance to New WWE Policy

The highly criticized approach by WWE to implement policies for their talent regarding 3rd party platforms such as Twitch has gone into effect, and a number of WWE superstars are taking down their twitch streams to adhere to the new standard imposed by the company.

One such superstar is Aj Styles, who started off on Mixer before making the jump to Twitch following the shutdown of Mixer, and he has been regularly actives on the platform ever since.

Styles has not “suspended” his account on Twitch, but did say that he plans on returning to the Amazon platform once everything had been worked out.

Styles issued the following statement on his Discord which has hit the headlines of video game journalists websites.

“I want to thank you all for the great memories on Mixer and Twitch. I will cherish these memories and I love everyone of you that have made this possible and supported me. As many of you know, WWE is making some changes that involve streaming. We will see what the future holds in that regard. With that being said, I will be suspending the Stylesclash stream. This isn’t good bye, but this is see you sometime in the future … Again, this isn’t the end it’s just a pause. Thank you again for your support,”

Styles was later joined by other superstars, such as Mia Yim:
