The Cleveland Browns have placed running back Nick Chubb on the injured reserve with an MCL injury, according to Browns’ head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Despite being placed in the injured reserve, Chubb is not expected to miss the remainder of the season due to the injury, which was initially feared to be an ACL injury.
Chubb, 25, has been having a career year with 335 yards, four touchdowns, averaging 5.9 yards per carry, and a key cog in the offense during the first four games of the season.
The Browns will lean more on Kareem Hunt during Chubb’s absence.
