Bucs’ Antonio Brown Looking Good in Practice

1 Min Read

So far, so good for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their risky signing of veteran wide receiver Antonio Brown earlier this week.

Brown inked a one-year deal to join the Bucs and reunite with quarterback Tom Brady, who had been pressing the team to sign the troubled Brown.

While Brown has all the talent on the field, it’s the off-field issues and his behavior that has led to the burnt bridges with the Las Vegas Raiders and the New England Patriots, and a reason why he has sat on the free agent market for as long as he has.

“He looks fantastic,” Arians said of Brown, according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine.  “I think we had really good conversations today, he and I. He was in the meetings and everything. And he’s working with…the strength staff. He looks in great shape. Yeah, [he’ll be] ready to go next week.”

With Chris Godwin’s status up in the air for Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints, the addition of Brown will help the Bucs offense keep things rolling, if all things continue on a positive path.
