Cardinals’ Chandler Jones Done For Season

1 Min Read

Arizona Cardinals pass rusher Chandler Jones is officially out for the remainder of the season, according to Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Jones, 30, is set to undergo season-ending biceps surgery, which he was hoping to avoid following his injury during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

The injury will bring to an end an impressive run for Jones, who has played in 69 games in a row and will also close his run of notching at least 11 sacks in each of the past four seasons.

This will also likely table contract extension talks. Jones is under contract through the 2021 season with a $15.5 million base salary.
