Despite a poor start to the season for Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, the Cowboys are not currently considering making a change.
Cowboys executive VP Stephen Jones said that “now’s not the time to think about” a change, during an appearance on Dallas’ 105.3 The Fan this week (h/t The Athletic’s Jon Machota).
A dreadful 1-3 start to the season can be partially blamed on a Cowboys defense that has been consistently shredded by opposing offenses during the first quarter of the season.
Nolan, 61, spent the past three seasons as the linebackers coach of the New Orleans Saints, and was brought in to replace Rod Marinelli, who joined Jon Gruden’s staff in Las Vegas.
