Cowboys Release Brandon Carr

1 Min Read

The Dallas Cowboys have officially released veteran defensive back Brandon Carr.

Carr, who has played 13 seasons in the league, was brought back just prior to the start of the 2020 regular season, and placed on the practice squad prior to his promotion to the main roster in Week 1.

Carr has been active for three games, but has only seen 21 defensive snaps despite just how depleted the Cowboys secondary has been this season.

Carr became a free agent when the Baltimore Ravens declined to pick up his 2020 option.
