Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed practice on Wednesday due to an illness, leaving his status for Week 4 up in the air.
According to Pro Football Talk, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores says that the illness is not related to COVID-19.
“This is not a false positive,” Flores said Wednesday, according to the Sun-Sentinal. “We’ve been through the protocols. We test every day. We’re confident saying it’s not COVID-related.”
The Dolphins have Ryan Fitzpatrick in place as the starter for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
