Panthers’ Christian McCaffrey Won’t Play Against Falcons

1 Min Read

Carolina Panthers superstar running back Christian McCaffrey won’t be making his highly-anticipated return to the field on Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons, according to ESPN’s David Newton.

The Panthers decided not to activated McCaffrey for Thursday night’s tilt against the Falcons, and now it appears he will make his official return from a high ankle sprain next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

McCaffrey made his return to practice on Monday, and was given a designation to return from the injured reserve on Tuesday.
