The Las Vegas Raiders have activated quarterback Marcus Mariota from the injured reserve and he will be active as the team’s backup during Week 7 action.

Mariota landed on the injured reserve ahead of Week 1 because of a strained pectoral muscle, and he has dealt with injuries throughout his career.

Mariota signed a two-year, $17.6 million deal with the Raiders during the offseason.
