Celtics’ Gordon Hayward Reportedly Wants Out

Boston Celtics veteran swingman Gordon Hayward reportedly wants out of his contract for the 2020-2021 season, according to The Ringer’s Ryen Russilo. via Bleacher Report’s Adam Wells.

According to the report, Hayward “does want out” of his deal for the 2020-21 season”, in which Hayward is owed $34 million and is the final season of his four-year, $128 million contract.

Hayward averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists for the Celtics during the 2019-2020 season.
