Giants Fire Offensive Line Coach Marc Colombo

1 Min Read

The New York Giants have fired offensive line coach Marc Colombo despite the improvement the unit has shown over the past few games, according to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

NFL Network first reported the Giants dismissal of Colombo, and the Giants will now move forward with longtime NFL assistant Dave DeGuglielmo as their new line coach. Judge interviewed DeGuglielmo for the offensive line coach job earlier this year.

Colombo was hired by new head coach Joe Judge this offseason, and was the former offensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys, where he worked with current Giants offensive coordinator and former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett.

DeGuglielmo was an assistant offensive line coach/quality control with the Giants from 2004 until 2008, and has worked with head coach Joe Judge during their time together with the New England Patriots.
