Jets Believe Adam Gase is Part of Solution

Leave it to the New York Jets to build faith in an inept head coach who is at the reigns of an 0-8 season, but that’s just what the Jets have done.
According to the New York Post’s Brian Costello, Jets general manager Joe Douglas believes that head coach Adam Gase is “part of the solution”.
Jets fans have been ripping Gase since last season, and rightfully so, as Gase has proven, yet again, that he is not the offensive guru he was touted as a few years ago when he was making rounds in the league as an offensive coordinator.
The Jets may also be sticking with Gase with their eyes on maintaining the worst record in the league, which would likely land them the number one overall pick and a potential shot at Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and in that scenario, Gase would be a solution, of sorts.
