Jets Trade Avery Williamson To Steelers

The New York Jets have continued to gut their roster as their winless season continues, and have traded linebacker Avery Williamson.

According to the New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta, the Jets have traded Williamson, along with a 2022 seventh-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2022 fifth-round pick.

Williamson will provide help at inside linebacker following the loss of Devin Bush for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.
