The Green Bay Packers have activated veteran linebacker Christian Kirksey from the injured reserve list and will be active for Sunday’s game.
Kirksey landed on the injured reserve list back in Septembers, due to a shoulder injury, and his return will make a big boost to the Packers defense, one that has struggled throughout the season.
Kirksey has been productive when on the field, but he has struggled with injuries, missing a total of 23 games over the final two seasons of his stint with the Cleveland Browns.
The Packers inked Kirksey to a two-year, $13 million contract during free agency, but he could be a candidate for release following the season.
