Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey made his long-awaited return to the field on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he may be headed back on the shelf.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, McCaffrey could miss more time after he suffered a shoulder injury, and is having tests today.
The report stresses that McCaffrey, who missed more than a month with an ankle injury, status is very much in doubt for this week.
McCaffrey rushed for 69 yards and a touchdowns on Sunday.
