Saints’ Michael Thomas Expected to Play

It’s been a long time coming, but now it appears that Michael Thomas is finally set to make his return to the field during Week 9.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Thomas, who hasn’t played since Week 1 due to a high ankle sprain, is expected to play as the New Orleans Saints take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While it’s likely that Thomas will be under watch as he makes his return to injury, it will be a big boost for a Saints offense that has often times lacked the familiar firepower it has been known for.
