Titans’ Ryan Tannehill Discusses Loss to Colts

2 Min Read

It was a disappointing night for the Tennessee Titans as they dropped their Thursday Night tilt against the Indianapolis Colts, and Titans’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill isn’t feeling too good following the blowout loss.

“When you’re down three scores at the end, obviously it’s a sick feeling, and not one I want to have again,” Tannehill said, according to the Washington Post.

Tannehill’s performance was lackluster, completing only 15 of 27 pass attempts for only 147 yards and 1 score, averaging a dismal 5.4 yards per completion. Stats that don’t often lead to success.

“We simply have to start playing better, plain and simple,” Tannehill said. “We’re just inconsistent. We’ve done some good things. The defense has done some good things. We’re just not consistent enough as a team playing complementary football, playing off of each other. We’re just not making enough plays. So we’re going to have to clean that up, really get healthy over this little extended week we have here, clear our minds and our heads and come back ready to go on Monday because we can’t wait around any longer.”

The Titans now stand oat 6-3, following a hot 5-0 start, and with the Colts also at 6-3, they currently own the tiebreaker over the Titans, thanks to Thursday’s victory.

Tennessee will now turn their attention to next week’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens to get back on track.
