76ers’ Joel Embiid Says He Wants Ben Simmons on His Team

Philadelphia 76ers superstars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons have been the subject of trade rumors for quite some time, as many feel that the Sixers cannot find a way to have them both be successful on the floor together, however Embiid is speaking up regarding his desire to play with Simmons.

Embiid has no interest in seeing the Sixers trade Simmons this offseason, saying that he told the front office that the team needs more shooting, which he feels they addressed.

Embiid believes adding shooters will help their success.

We were able to dominate together” Embiid said of the addition of shooters, according to NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark.

Embiid then had this to say about his relationship with Simmons; “We’ve been way closer. I want him on my team”
