Browns Talking Contract Extension with Rashard Higgins

1 Min Read

The Cleveland Browns have started preliminary talks on a contract extension with wide receiver Rashard Higgins, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Higgins is currently playing on a one-year, $910K contract, which lines him up to hit unrestricted free agency at the conclusion of the 2020 season.

Higgins has hauled in 25 receptions for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns through 10 games for the Browns this season, and is coming off a stellar performance against the Tennessee Titans in which he racked up 6 receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Contract negotiations are no big deal as teams look to lock up players and organizations, such as those in gaming, look to lock up video game executives too.
