Conor McGregor Fighting Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 in January

The UFC will head back to fight island for UFC 257 which will feature the return of two-weight champion superstar Conor McGregor as he takes on Dustin Poirier, according to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.

UFC president Dana White announced that the returning McGregor (22-4) will take on Dustin Porier (26-6) at the event which takes place on January 23rd on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The event will be part of a series of UFC Fight Night events that the UFC will run on January 16th and on January 20th leading up to UFC 257.

On January 16th, former champion Max Holloway (21-6) and Calvin Kattar (22-4) will headline the card , with Khamzat Chimaev (9-0) fighting Leon Edwards (18-3) in the main event on January 20th’s card.
