Ezekiel Elliott Expected to Play Against Eagles

1 Min Read

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to have running back Ezekiel Elliott back in the lineup as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Elliott missed last week due to a calf injury, but the running back recently said that he is “making the right steps to be ready for Sunday”.

Although Elliott’s return will be good news for fantasy football owners, it is worth calming expectations as the Cowboys are likely to split his workload with running back Tony Pollard, who broke out during last week’s game on the ground, and in the passing game.

The Cowboys game against the Eagles is crucial in the race for the NFC West division winds down over the next two weeks.
