The Miami Heat are laying out their plans if they miss out on Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and that apparently includes Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.
According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, if Antetokounmpo inks a supermax contract extension with the Bucks, the Heat will turn their attention to Beal.
Antetokounmpo is eligible to sign a five-year, $228 million supermax extension with the Bucks, but there are questions about his willingness to do so as the Bucks continue to fall short in the playoffs despite his MVP level of play.
The availability of Beal will be determined by the Wizards, who have thus far been reluctant to trade their superstar. However, should Miami offer a strong enough package, acquiring Beal and pairing him with Jimmy Butler could be a possibility.
