Lakers, LeBron James Agree to 2-Year, $85 Million Extension

The Los Angeles Lakers and superstar LeBron James have agreed to a two-year, $85 million maximum contract extension, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

With his new deal, James is set to earn over $39 million this season and will hold a $41 million player option for the 2021-2022 season, which will keep him with the Lakers through 2023.
