NBA, Rockets Reviewing James Harden Club Video

1 Min Read

The NBA and the Houston Rockets are currently reviewing a video of Rockets guard James Harden partying at a club without wearing a mask, as they attempt to determine if he violated the NBA’s COVID-19 protocols, according to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

In a video posted by Black Sports Online, Harden is allegedly seen at a Houston club’s Christmas Party from this past week, partying without a mask.

The league, and the Rockets, are trying to determine if the video was indeed from this year, which would clearly prove Harden violated protocols.

Harden responded to the video on his official Instagram page on Wednesday, according to ESPN.

“One thing after another. I went to show love to my homegirl at her event (not a strip club) because she is becoming a boss and putting her people in position of success and now it’s a problem,” Harden wrote. “Everyday it’s something different. No matter how many times people try to drag my name under you can’t. The real always end on top.”

If the NBA suspended Harden, it would cost him $284,517 per game.
