It appears less and less likely that the New Orleans Saints will have quarterback Drew Brees back in their lineup for their upcoming tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and Brees’ return status isn’t clear.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, there is currently not timetable for a Brees return, as the Saints want to see Brees have a full range of motion before they bring him back.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, Brees would have been questionable “at best” for the upcoming Chiefs game but his latest throwing session did not go well.
Brees will attempt to throw again on Wednesday.
