Washington Releases Dwayne Haskins

The Washington Football Team has officially ended the roller coaster tenure of quarterback Dwayne Haskins, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Haskins was benched on Sunday during Washington’s loss, marking yet another disappointment for the signal caller that Washington was hoping would be their franchise quarterback when they selected him in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

“Definitely the hardest week of my life. I just want to bounce back and move forward and pray and get my life together,” Haskins said following Sunday’s game, according to ESPN’s John Keim. “I can’t really put into words how I’m feeling right now.”
