Blue Jays Signing Michael Brantley

The Toronto Blue Jays are signing free-agent outfielder/designated hitter Michael Brantley to a three-year contract, according to Sportsnet’s Hazel Mae.

Brantley is represented by Excel Sports Management and now joins former Houston Astros teammate George Springer in heading to Toronto. Springer signed with the Blue Jays in a deal that was officially announced on Wednesday.

Brantley, 33, nit .300 with 5 homeruns and 22 RBIs during the 2020 season.
