The Los Angeles Chargers are interested in former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, according to NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.
Earlier today, reports surfaced that stated that members in the front office of the Jacksonville Jaguars had been growing frustrated with Meyer’s non-committal in regards to their head coaching job. Meyer had been considered a near-lock to take the Jags job, but it appears hesitation has now popped up.
Meyer’s delay could be due to the interest from the Chargers, who offer the chance to work with young quarterback Justin Herbert and a talented defense. The Chargers also offer a more talented roster than the Jaguars currently do.
