Cowboys Interview Dan Quinn

The Dallas Cowboys interviewed former Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn for their defensive coordinator opening over the weekend, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Quinn is now the third known candidate that has interviewed for the post, joining Falcons secondary coach Joe Whitt and Carolina Panthers defensive passing game coordinator Jason Simmons.

Quinn was fired during the regular season following the Falcons’ 0-5 start to the season, but has been drawing interest as a defensive coordinator from around the league.

Dallas fired defensive coordinator Mike Nolan last week, but have decided to retain head coach Mike McCarthy.
