De’Aaron Fox Enters Kings Record Books with Big Performance

1 Min Read

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox entered the franchise record books following a monster game on Sunday, but despite his efforts the Kings still ended up on the losing side.

Fox scored 43 points and added 13 assists in the Kings loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, which made him the first Kings players since Tiny Archibald to put up 40/10 in a game, which Archibald did back in 1973, according to the Undefeated’s Marc J. Spears.

While Fox’s numbers were certainly something to celebrate, Fox himself was more focused on the loss.

“There’s more, offensively and defensively, that I’m able to do,” Fox said, according to the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). “We lost on a career high (for me) so it doesn’t really matter.”
