De’Aaron Fox Says NBA Bubble Was ‘Terrible’ Experience

1 Min Read

Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox wasn’t a big fan of the time he spent in the NBA Bubble in Orlando, Florida last season, and is sharing his thoughts on the experience.

“That experience was terrible” Fox said, according to NBC Sports’ James Ham. “I never want to have to do anything like that again.”

Fox certainly showed out during his time in the bubble, averaging a stellar 26.2 points and 7.3 assists per game over the six games he played, but it still didn’t help him enjoy the bubble experience more.

Now, Fox is, like many other players, adjusting to the new “normal” of the NBA season, which is playing games without fans in attendance.

“It’s different man, you’ve got to be able to play” Fox said. :There ain’t no fans, there’s no energy, you’ve got to create your own energy. It’s basically like AAU (when) you used to play in that back gym at 8 o’clock in the morning. You’ve got to come ready to play. No one can help you.”
