The New York Jets coaching search continued with an interview with former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, who most recently served as the co-defensive coordinator for Arizona State.

The interview marks the third for Lewis, who also interview for head coaching gigs with the Detroit Lions and the Houston Texans.

The Jets formally announced their interview with Lewis on Thursday, and an experience head coach such as Lewis may be a great fit for a rebuilding Jets, given his experience in turning around a terrible situation when he arrived in Cincinnati.

Despite his lackluster record in the playoffs with the Bengals, he still turned the franchise around from a cellar-dweller to a playoff contender.

Lewis has a 0-7 record in the playoffs, but still boasts four AFC North titles.
