Maurkice Pouncey Likely To Retire

1 Min Read

Pittsburgh Steelers veteran center Maurkice Pouncey is likely calling it a career this offseason, according to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac.

Pouncey has reportedly told teammates that he is likely retiring, and barring a change of heart the official decision could be announced soon.

With quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s playing future also uncertain, Pouncey will leave a huge void along the Steelers’ offensive line should he decide to retire.

Should Pouncey officially retire, he would do so having made nine Pro Bowls and five All-Pro teams over the course of 11 seasons, all spent with the Steelers.
