The Los Angeles Rams have officially activated veteran left tackle Andrew Whitworth from the injured reserve ahead of their playoff game.
Whitworth, 39, has missed seven games due to an MCL tear as well as PCL damage, and has played to his routine level of elite play this season.
Whitworth is intending to return next season to continue playing, and given how strongly he has played, maintaining his high-level of performance, it makes sense.
Now, the Rams will have their most valuable offensive lineman back in the fold, and he is likely to be joined by wide receiver Cooper Kupp and defensive lineman Michael Brockers as well.
