Following the Phoenix Suns’ stunning blowout loss to the Washington Wizards on Monday, concerns are rising that the hot-starting Suns may be coming back to Earth.

Within a week prior to their loss to the cellar-dwelling Wizards, the Suns dropped a game to the Detroit Pistons, another team at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

Suns superstar Devin Booker says that the Suns’ starting 5 need sot step up to get everything back on track.

“We do have to figure it out. A lot of the games that we’ve won, we’ve been carried by our bench” Booker said, according to Fansided’s Gerald Bourguet.

“There is something that we need to fix there. I feel like we will find the flow, find the chemistry, or whatever it is” Booker continued. “We have to take it day by day. That’s the part of the NBA, you have to make adjustments and find out what’s going on. But, we are took many games in for it to keep happening.

Suns head coach Monty Williams acknowledged the struggles of the Suns starters, and said it may be familiarity with lineups playing a part in the issue.

“Probably familiarity, as far as lineups are concerned” Williams said in the post game interview. “It’s something I gotta take a deep look at and see if it’s not worth a discussion.”

“That group has not played well, i think before the Indiana game, it was not rated as a really good group, but I don’t think they’ve had a ton of time to gel and to know what to expect, or how to play off of each other, so it’s something that I maybe have to make an adjustment and ultimately I have to do what’s best for the team.”

Williams continued by saying that they may have to make a change somewhere.
