Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is set to undergo a minor surgical procedure on his knee during the offseason, according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine.
Brady’s knee injury is nothing recent, and surgery had been in the plans for months. Despite the issue, Brady was not listed on the Buccaneers’ injury report all season, but did wear a brace on his left knee during the Buccaneers’ Super Bowl Championship boat parade earlier this week.
Brady, 43, was named Super Bowl MVP for the fifth time in his career after he led Tampa Bay to a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV last Sunday.
