With all the quarterback movement that has dominated the chatter as we head into the NFL offseason, the Dallas Cowboys aren’t interested in changing signal callers and aiming to keep Dak Prescott under center moving forward.

According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Cowboys are hoping that they can work out a contract extension with Prescott prior to the March 9th franchise tag application deadline.

This latest development indicates that the Cowboys aren’t concerned with Prescott’s health as he recovers from the brutal ankle injury he suffered back in October, an injury that eventually led to surgery.

Should they not work out a new contract with Prescott, the Cowboys could explore a franchise tag, but that price tag will be hefty, at a rate of over $37 million.
