Dolphins Expected to Add Multiple Receivers This Offseason

1 Min Read

In an effort to beef up their receiving unit, the Miami Dolphins are intent on adding multiple wide receivers during both free agency and during the upcoming NFL Draft, according to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson.

Miami secured wide receiver DeVante Parker in a long-term contract last year, but given his injury issues, along with those of Preston Williams, and the lack of development of return specialist Jakeem Grant as a wide receiver, the Dolphins are prioritizing bolstering their aerial arsenal.

The Dolphins will have plenty of options in free agency and the draft. with top tier receivers like Allen Robinson and Kenny Golladay among the names of available receivers, and armed with the 3rd overall and 18th overall picks in the first round, Miami will have their opportunities to improve the unit.

Per the report, the team has already have the likes of Marvin Jones and T.Y. Hilton on their radar.

While the Dolphins starting quarterback may not be 100% locked in for 2021 and beyond, the team will ensure that whomever lines up under center will have a solid number of targets to throw to next season.
