The Toronto Maple Leafs will have veteran forward Joe Thornton back in the lineup on Monday as they take on the Ottawa Senators, which will see Thornton return after missing 10-games due to a rib injury, according to TSN’s Kristen Shilton.

Thornton, 41, has been out since he suffered a rib injury during a January 20th game against the Edmonton Oilers.

Thornton returned to practice on Sunday, and according to the report, this is how the Leafs’ forward group lined up:

Thornton-Matthews-Marner
Hyman-Tavares-Nylander
Mikheyev-Kerfoot-Engvall
Vesey-Spezza-Sabourin
Rielly-Brodie Muzzin-Holl
Dermott-Bogosian
Marincin-Lehtonen
Andersen Hutchinson
SRS: Petan, Boyd, Barabanov

Toronto went 8-1-1 with Thornton on the shelf, and currently are tops in the North Division with 23 points.

So far this season, Thornton has scored one goal and one assist during the five games he played.
