Brooklyn Nets’ superstar forward Kevin Durant has been officially cleared to return and will be a “full go” on Saturday when the Nets take on the Golden State Warriors, according to ESPN;’s Malika Andrews.
Nets head coach Steve Nash made the announcement on Friday.
Durant was pulled in the middle of a game last weekend due to a COVID-19 scare after Durant was considered to be in close contact with a Nets employee who has tested positive for COVID-19. Durant had to quarantine for seven days, per NBA protocols, before he would be cleared to return to the court.
Durant missed three games during that time span, with the Nets going 1-2 with losses to the Philadelphia 76ers and the Detroit Pistons.
Durant is averaging 29.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season for the 15-12 Nets.
