Sabres’ Ralph Krueger Tests Positive for COVID-19

Buffalo Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger has tested positive for COVID-19 and is entering the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol, according to ESPN.

The Sabres have had their games postponed at least through Monday and currently has four players on their COVID-19 list, including the Sabres superstar winger Taylor Hall. Along with the Sabres, the New Jersey Devils and the Minnesota Wild have also paused their season play due to issues from COVID-19.

The Devils have 17 players on the COVID-19 list.

The last time the Sabres played was in back-to-back games against the Devils on January 30th and January 31st.

Krueger, 61, is in his second season as the Sabres head coach and has led them to a 4-4-2 record which is currently sixth place in the East Division.
