The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms with former Seattle Seahawks veteran cornerback Shaquill Griffin on a three-year, $40 million deal, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Griffin’s new contract with the Jags is actually three-years for $45 million, and it includes $29 million guaranteed. Griffin lands in Jacksonville despite Seattle’s making a “hard push” to keep him.
Griffin, 25, was named to the Pro Bowl in 2019, and collected 12 passes defended and three interceptions in 12 games for the Seahawks last season.
