The Detroit Lions are bringing back pass-rusher Romeo Okwara, who was set to hit unrestricted free agency, agreeing to a three-year contract worth $39 million, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Okwara was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Giants following the 2016 NFL Draft and made the team out of training camp. Okwara was eventually waived, where he would then find his way to the Lions.

While not one of the bigger names on the market, Okwara is certainly a solid edge rusher, finishing last season with a career-high 10 sacks, and ranking in the Top 25 in the NFL in both quarterback pressures and quarterback hits.
