Derrick Rose Shows Support After Julius Randle Struggles in Elimination Game

New York Knicks forward Julius Randle had been a catalyst to the Knicks incredible turnaround this season, but his struggles in the playoffs ultimately led to their elimination in the first round to the Atlanta Hawks.

“It’s all about just adjusting,” Rose said of Randle, according to The Athletic’s Mike Vorkunov. “I told him I still do believe in him. I’m gonna ride with him until the end, just like everybody on the team. He got us here. It’s all about making them adjustments during the game and just learning from all of your experiences. Now, the next time when he’s back in the postseason, he has a foundation to work from.”

Randle took a big step forward in is play this season, becoming the main component of the Knicks offense, and also making the All-Star team. But he couldn’t continue his strong play in the playoffs.

Now, Randle is set to hit free agency leaving his future with the Knicks up in the air.
