Nats’ Stephen Strasburg Leaves Start Early

1 Min Read

Washington Nationals veteran right-hander Stephen Strasburg exited Tuesday night’s game after a clear dip in velocity and experiencing apparent discomfort, according to the Washington Post’s Chelsea Janes.

Following the game it was reported that Strasburg was dealing with a tight trapezius muscle, according to the Athletic’s Maria Torres.

Strasburg is now set to undergo an MRI on Wednesday, but it is clear that something is up with the Nationals long-time ace. It is a big blow for a Nationals team that is already dealing with a number of injury issues with their pitching staff.
